Commitment to our 2030 calendar
- In line with the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and ESG criteria, we are committed to leading green investment and sustainable energy production in Ecuador.
- Our objective is to contribute to the reduction of the carbon footprint through: sustainable forest management, the development of advanced technologies, the production of renewable energy and the promotion of responsible consumption of clean energy.
- Our commitment to sustainability, social responsibility and operational excellence is demonstrated through the implementation of the following international standards: ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 27701, 37001 and FSC.
BRINGING TO REALITY OUR 2030 CALENDAR
By December of this year we will plant the first 200 hectares of balsa with a total of 125,000 trees planted. This puts us in line with our goal of doubling the number of hectares planted annually.
- 2024: 400 ha
- 2025: 800 ha
- 2026: 1600 ha
- 2030: 22.000 ha
At the end of this year we will start with the studies in the wind monitoring station located in the same place where the wind farms will be located, that is, in Montecristi. The measurements will be made with IoT sensors and the results obtained will be used to determine the technical characteristics that the wind turbines should have.
We have successfully implemented the international standards ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 27701 and 37001. As well as the FSC for sustainable forest management. This ensures our alignment with ESG criteria and industry best practices.
At CORPAYA we align ourselves with the UN's 2030 Agenda through concrete projects that promote environmental sustainability and generate value for society and investors.
OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ESG RATING
To translate our commitment to ESG rating into reality, we have adopted a comprehensive approach that addresses each of the ESG criteria in all of our operations and investment decisions. Below are some of the specific actions we are implementing in each of the ESG areas.
Social
We promote respect for human rights, racial diversity and equal opportunities within and outside the organization. We ensure that we benefit local populations and employees through our programs.
Continuous evaluation
We establish clear, efficient and transparent policies in the governance of the company through the implementation of integrated management systems, which are evaluated through external audits.
Environment
We implement sustainable environmental management practices in all our operations such as: reforestation of forests, waste management and emissions reduction. We invest in and develop sustainable technologies that allow us to generate clean energy and reduce our carbon footprint.

In CORPAYA's operations and investment decisions, we have assumed a global strategy through the successful implementation of international regulations that ensure compliance with each of the ESG criteria and alignment with the SDGs.
